Oscar Wilde’s only novel ranks with Frankenstein and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as an excursion into psychological horror.  City Lit’s adaptation is set in New York City from 1970 to 1980 as youth and beauty hide the onset of epidemics of AIDS and crack cocaine.
